October 23 and 24, 2010
The Richmond Meditative Inquiry Group will bring Richard Witteman, a teacher from Springwater Center, to Ekoji to lead a weekend of meditation and dialogue on Saturday-Sunday October 23-24. The weekend events are open to all. This will be a "mini-retreat" led by Richard that participants may participate in at whatever level they feel comfortable with. There will be periods of sitting and walking meditation as well as talks and group dialogue led by Richard. He will also offer private meetings to those wishing to discuss their meditation practice. Richard has worked with Toni Packer for 28 years and has led retreats since 2003. He teaches with "an invitation to soften around our ideas of what life is or should be, and enter into the fullness of our moment to moment experience. To be here with the same spirit of wonder and curiosity we had as children - allowing everything to be fresh and unknown." Articles and audio talks by Richard can be found here.
The weekend schedule will be posted here shortly.
There is no fee for this mini-retreat but donations will be accepted. Advance registration is required. Please e-mail
